About THE GAME

Pong+ augments physical games of pong, so the game is designed to sit in the middle of the table so all players can reach it. To start each game, each team drafts 5 offensive cups for the opposing team’s rack, and 5 defensive cups for their rack.

There are many rules and icons to remember, but players can tap a cup to pull up a summary of its rules.

Whenever a player makes a cup, they drag the ball on the screen to the matching cup.

Then, a screen appears with instructions for how the game should proceed, based on the rules of the cup. (It’s sideways because the phone is shared by all players, but only needs to be read by one side of the table).

This game was super fun to build, and playtesting sessions were generally successful, but ultimately we decided to end development before releasing to any platforms.
